DC opening extended (again)

Yeah, it's not an assistant head coach. It would have to be Kaczenski's old job.

My bad, misread that. Interesting timing though since the dline position has been open since before the bowl game and the job description in the posting says "position TBD"

It's so funny reading the posts from everyone. You guys are trying to figure out KF....good luck with that. Don't over think this....stay inside the box and you will be in line with KF.

no kidding he has read all the hawk sites and decided to put his foot down and show everybody who's boss by extending the posting period

Word is he has been out for a while with severe gastrointestinal distress. But he's taking Bean-O now and should be back to his old self in days, at which time he can pass on a DC candidate.

How dumb would it really be if it was someone from a pro playoff team and they just kept having to extend the deadline? :p

saw on the site that stated it was AHC job, it was misinterpretated, it is just a Assistant Coaching position, i just posted what another posted

if reese retires i would put money on another ferentz being on the staff.

Nooooooooooo! Hasn't having to listen to the incessant whining of Jay and Scott Paterno enough to show that you should make your kids live their own life?! Brian is coaching the most successful unit of any playoff team. He is writing his own ticket. He doesn't need to coattail daddy.

when Morgan got the OL job, Devin Mitchell applied for the OL job.
former Iowa OL player might be interested again, and the fact he is from Illinois helps in recruiting
who knows what is going on but it appears to be that new blood is going to be brought in
also Mitchell is a OL coach in the NFL

I don't know why an NFL coach would have to wait, the new PSU coach was announced and is still coaching with the Pats.

with the seriousness of this hire is to the Program, i would hope KF takes all the time he needs to get it right, recruiting is about done, there are 18 days left before signing the only thing left is to do is make sure the kids committed stay that way, and get 5-6 more to finish this class.
they don't need coaches to do that, then there are what 2 months to get ready for spring training, lots of time to get it right
