Hesse filled in for Ott at DE when he got hurt. He really seemed to settle down and belong after a few snaps. He also played meaningful minutes vs Illinois State. Looking at his HS recruiting profile on rivals, he was an athlete listed at 6'3" and only 205 lbs. but he did have 4.7 40 time. Not saying he lit the world on fire, but just someone to watch for as he is a redshirt freshman.

He looks a lot bigger than that in class... Looks like he's started to fill out that frame!
