Did Gettis get hurt at the end of last game? Hopefully these two deeps mean he is good to go (not like they mean anything)

Will somebody please take Staggs name off the 2 deeps. Cotton even got in before him in the Minny debacle

Davis was nursing a knee early in the yr. Did not see him at MN and he did not play against Mich. that I saw. Is this injury-related? On a side note, I would like to know where Cooper is...Hopefully redshirting. That said, I thought he would contribute early.

Davis definately played against Mich. Had one long catch that I remember but had at least 2 catches. Cooper has not been on the two deep all year and is redshirting.
Having CJF as #1 at TE is a good move. He has got it figured out and he should only continue to improve.

believe he meant Carl Davis. Not sure why he hasn't been playing much.

I could be wrong here, but I think the post you were responding to meant Carl Davis, not Keenan.

**Edit - Farmer beat me to it.

Noticed today that Iowa is 34th in scoring defense nationally and ninth in red zone defense. Given the amount of grief Norm Parker, and the staff have taken that's not bad. Especially given the precipitous drop off of talent/experience on the defensive line.

Iowa played great D for 3 quarters, than in the fourth we went back to Parker ball and nearly blew the game away like we did so often last year.

You can't pick and choose when it's "Parker ball". He's the DC in all four quarters. Yes, they probably should have used more "man" late in the fourth quarter but he put together that defensive scheme that stopped one of the more prolific offenses in the country.

you get better by playing, if you screw up you have live action tape to go over and correct the mistake, yes i know they tape practices, but ussually the guys in practice know alot about each other so it is hard to detect mistakes., as for Carl Davis, i have heard he has been bothered by a nagging injury, nothing that is serious, just enough to hinder him, hopefully he will get over the bug and gets up to full strength, as the kid is a beast
