His mom died while he was in high school.

If I remember right, his mom died before or after his graduation party. I think it was at his house and it was heart related, I believe he was there when it happen.

Hard for anyone to go through.

You weren't mistaken. I may have taken someone post the wrong way and responded in a manner better left alone. I came back to edit my comment but JD beat me to it.

Good Idea on that. I will get that handled. I had just met him briefly. Always heard nice things about him.
