You do sound like a jerk. Sawhill may not have been a game-changer but at 6-foot-3, 277 pounds and three years of experience conceivably he could have contributed on a side of the ball where Iowa is young and somewhat undersized. Apparently the coaches agreed when they decided to accept him as a walk-on.

Too bad. Best wishes to Sawhill as he completes his education.
