It’s been about 40 years since I played any organized basketball (and I wasn’t very good then), but wouldn’t a 1-3-1 zone help cover the openings we leave at the wings and the free throw line? Seems like we play some kind of a 1-2-2 that leaves both those spots open. Thoughts?

Is the Jim Bartels that was killed in a car accident in Des Moines yesterday the same Jim Bartels that played for the Hawks in the early 90’s. The ages line up. Hope not.

Just heard that Norm is going to be back tomorrow. I'm assuming in the press box. Should be a big lift for the team and the fans.

Maybe we don't care, but where do you think Lick ends up? I'd say he takes some time off to get healthy and then goes the mid-major route again. I don't think a major program would take a chance on him with the baggage he has from this mess.
