A side note, Oklahoma lost for the 4th time this month. Maybe now the 'experts' will finally move them off the #1 seed line like they should've about 2 weeks ago.
It's getting a little tiresome that every team lately has a player that nobody has ever heard of and averages about 5 minutes and 2.4 points a game lights us up for 5 times that many in a half and looks like a first team selection.
Go out and blow these no talent hacks out of carver. They've only got about 2 players that can score if you guard the rest, freshman center, not much depth. We've had a week to rest, heal, and prepare in all facets of the game. I take 6 1/2 points and spend the winnings at halftime!
Have Jack Daniels and beer sales starting about 3 hours prior to tip off. Nothing like a house full of drunken blue hairs to light up the place! Oh, and take away all I-phones etc. at the entrances so half the crowd isn't texting and sending selfies for 3/4 ths of the game.
Agree here. I noticed this on the schedule a few days back. Wish the separation between games was a bit more balanced, but you deal with the hand that's dealt to you. Sunday night to Tuesday is a pretty fast turnaround vs 5 days off.
If we get him I hope Fran plays him at point guard. It'd blow our opponents' minds. :p Manute Bol always reminded me of about a 4 month old Giraffe calf whenever I'd watch him run. I always wondered if he was gonna be able to negotiate the next step he took.
The talent level rather than the effort is what I was referring to regarding Ohio State in my previous post, tho I sure didn't make that clear in re-reading it. In fact, probably the opposite. Anyway, OSU players didn't seem to have (imo) near as much skill as I thought they would have at this...
After watching the Nebby / OSU game yesterday my concerns over going to OSU were greatly reduced. Both of those teams looked, well, bad is the only way to say it. If OSU puts on the same performance when we play them, I think we'll be fine. We will take care of Wisconsin with not a lot of...
It continued today as #'s 24, 20, 19, 17, 15, 14, 11, and 10 all went down. It's not quite as radical as it first seems as 3 teams lost to higher ranked teams, 2 lost to lower ranked teams, and 3 lost to unranked teams. Parity.
Seriously tho, I would not be surprised if Penn State loses at Rutgers today. They all had the big celebration Wednesday and today will probably come out and shoot 2-23 from three point range, 55% from the free throw line, get out rebounded by 10, and Donovan Jack, Jack Donovan, Jack Daniels or...
I'm glad you're back and have put the gun down. :p You did have a post last night asserting that we would lose out from this point on, including first round of the b10 tourney and first round of the NCAA. Just sayin'. Anyway, rational has won you over it seems. YAY!!. :D
