Bill O'Brien may well be out of a job at the Patriots if Belichick is gone, unless they would hire him as the head coach. Currently the OC & QB coach and a friend of Kirk Ferentz. Likewise if he came, could be short term if he empowered the offense.

While I understand there is lots of speculation that the next OC could well be Philbin. There is another friend of coach Ferentz who may well be out of a job at the New England Patriots. Bill O'Brien would be a great hire as well.

Kudos to Coach Ferentz for the two recent offensive staff hires. One would like to think that Levar Woods and Brian Ferentz will add to the recruiting capabilities of Lester Erb and Darrell Wilson. Hopefully, their youth will be an asset in helping this staff win the future recruiting wars...
