We got a commitment from an FCS DB from Villanova, Anthony Hawkins. There is a story on HawkCentral.com (subscription required) and it sounds like most of our targets are FCS/smaller division players. Kind of fits our past history of what we go after, FWIW.

I saw this this morning and was mildly shocked. Had lots of snaps this year and was going to get starter reps next year. Maybe it's a money thing, maybe something else. At best this hurts our depth on the D Line, at worst we lost a player with All-B1G potential.

I don't think Moulton's lack of big runs is so much a lack of speed. It seems to me that he does not have really good vision that top running backs have. He tends to break into tacklers instead of away from sometimes. It is a knack that most top running backs possess.

I had read earlier in the week that he was injured. And he is in attendance (and on the pre-game injury report). So I don't think this is a portal situation.

This is KF's son-in-law. I would say 0% chance of him leaving while KF is still here. He is our GM and it sounds like he is pretty well thought of. Other schools have tried to hire him away.
