Indiana has 8. I thought I heard that from announcers last night. Can that be true
Gives me a little hope that it could happen some day at Iowa.
Sure, but something like this has never happened before, so what are the odds of it happening again in our lifetime, and coincidentally happening to our favorite team?
Counterpoint: maybe we cannot compare this day and age to the history of CFB, as NIL has upended everything.
Counter-counterpoint: we do not have a Mark Cuban.
You know we came dang close this past season. All we needed was a couple of breaks in those 4 losses. We proved we could compete with Indiana, I was at that game and we should have won.

I heard that to. I couldn't believe it.Indiana has 8. I thought I heard that from announcers last night. Can that be true
I was in North endzone. Gronowski doesn’t go down and I think we score. Clearly we gave them tough game. I wasn’t overly impressed with them. Same thing with Oregon. And if Iowa state doesn’t catch that tipped pass. Geesh. So closeYou know we came dang close this past season. All we needed was a couple of breaks in those 4 losses. If we complete this pass, we can take 3 knees and kick a short FG:

Pretty sure that was Hank Brown. Gronowski had gone out with the injured knee in that game. Which is another thing that makes you think we would've won the game had he not gotten injured. But Hank simply missed the throw, unfortunately. It is what it is. Gronowski was struggling with accuracy, had limited practice time with the team, and was working his way back from what amounts to six months layoff from practicing. Likewise, the coaching staff struggled with finding things that worked for Gronowski, given his limitations.
