    Mike Gundy

Geez, what a dumpster fire this place has turned into. I must say I am at a loss as to why wearing a news company's t-shirt is a near-fireable offense for a football coach, but in today's knee-jerk environment, apparently that is the case. FYI, OAN is pretty darn rightward and Trump-loving, but...

    Washed up Walkons this week

I have to disagree with this. Given the reactionary state of modern social media, unless Daniels et al were looking to cut-bait on the program forever, or trying to bury it, it would have been infinitely preferable for them to approach KF as a group to express their concerns first. It's more...

    QB flip?

He's 6-3, so height is good for a QB. Love that he plays SS in baseball and starts in BB, has quick feet and good agility. His HS looks pretty small, so not sure of his competition there, but he seems to have the tools. Impressive that he started in 3 sports of a frosh, reminds me a little...

Were any of you at the September 23rd 1972 home game vs Oregon State?

I recalling being there; we used to go to games as kids on "Knothole" tickets, which cost about $4 at the time. But I don't recall it being a big deal with a lot of fanfare (unlike the first day of artificial turf, when they let the fans run all over the field). Now THAT was fun. And just to...

    Hayden Fry

Knowing how important the Tiger Hawk was to Hayden (and the program), I'd like to see something like a single tear coming from the Tiger Hawk's eye on the helmet, rather than an all-black helmet. He was, after all, basically the guy who commissioned it.

    Field Storm

Storm the field: Beat an undefeated team in November Beat Top 10 team in November Beat a rival with a legit trophy on the line Night game Seal game with a last minute interception No storm the field: The first four plus... It's not a close, tense game with an exciting finish It's all about...

    IowaLaw's Post-Game Analysis: Minnesota

Nate played better than Iowa Law is giving him credit for, and in fact had a few WR drops that hurt his stat line. The offense this time came to play for the most part (esp 1st half), and it was the (pass) defense that almost blew this one. My complaint about the offense is that the running...

Who on here cant even stand to see PSU win and help the hawks?

I started out firmly in the PSU camp, but then found myself rooting for the Gophers more and more, until it was pretty clear that I wanted the West to win a big one this year, and quiet some of the "ooh the West is so terrible" talk we always hear. Plus Minny is due do for a let-down now next...

BT officiating should be BS officiating

And the refs missed the delay of game on the PSU TD play as well. Reffing kind of evened-out in the end in this one, but it sets up a GREAT game in Kinnick next Saturday.

    B1G stadiums ranked

Best Stadium and Best Gameday Atmosphere are two entirely different things, just like Best College Town and Best Tailgating would be. Best Stadium is a combo of the actual stadium and game atmosphere, and Kinnick really can't be beat when you look at both of those things. It's a beautiful...

Ticket Sales dropping and the solution...???

I'm not crying about the cost myself, because I pony up what it takes. But the evidence is in the falling attendance, and the high cost of game tickets and concessions contribute to people deciding to watch from home. Parking can be free if you don't mind walking 20 minutes, or maybe $10-15...

Ticket Sales dropping and the solution...???

My mother lives on Olive Court, and unless you're getting there at 6 am, or are incredibly lucky, you can't find street parking there. Some of the other side streets might have an opening here and there, but man you must have awful good luck to consistently find an open spot on a gameday.

Ticket Sales dropping and the solution...???

They have cheaper youth games, but as you admit it's not the big games. And those big games aren't even selling out every time, either! I would say that if you're not selling out Wisconsin and Nebraska, then your tickets ARE over-priced, and it doesn't matter what other teams charge, you've got...

Ticket Sales dropping and the solution...???

Ticket prices are way too high, for a start. Some individual games are ridiculously expensive--aren't ISU and Nebraska over $75 a ticket these days? One solution is to emphasize season tickets, to really discount those, and de-emphasize individual game tickets. Another is to deeply discount...

    TD Drop Was The Ballgame

When the MSU coach looks at the film, he'll go "ohhh, right" and then shut up about the penalties. They were all so legit, it would have been a travesty to have ignored them.
