Nike sucks and all those "combat" uniforms suck. The '39 throwbacks were cool. The '58 throwbacks will be cool. Other than throwbacks, Iowa should never-ever change their uniforms.

UConn was once on our future footbal schedules. Pehaps in 2012 and 2013. I see that they are now gone. Does anybody know what happened? Did UConn buy themselves out of contract or what?

Born in 1971. Just when I was getting into sports, Iowa went to the Final Four (1980) and the Rose Bowl (1981). I was hooked. I shudder to think what could have happened if ISU went to the Final Four and the Orange Bowl during those years.
