    It'll be about Connor

If CM plays more than spot minutes, it's sad at this level. Having 2 nonathletic for B10 guards is one to many. Did I mention he can't shoot outside 15 feet... He plays like a coaches son (complement) and would be terrific on a D3 team.

    Shorter bench

With so many positives, did anyone else like the rotation being 9 only guys? Not looking forward to Pemsel or Nunge taking Garza minutes and more hockey like substitution patterns. Shorter bench is good for cohesion on the floor. JoBo will obviously play more when not in foul trouble, but maybe...

In my 56 years of watching Iowa BB..

We're going to be good next year

If Daily plays much, Iowa’s got a bad B10 team, that simple.

We're going to be good next year

Delusional - incredibly unathletic team - can’t move fast enough to guard their shadows -most guys should be playing a lower level of college ball and that is reflected in their lack of success. Team of “Try hards” but over matched. Need serious upgrade in athleticism" . College hoops is a...

What is "better next year" to you?

You are smokin’ crack... wake up -players just not that good, and coach nothing special either 12-6 teams are terrific in both areas....

Great effort, but such a deflating loss.

From MSU paper “ In no other sport is the play of the home team elevated to such a degree so often. If you watched the opening minutes of Michigan State’s game at Iowa, the difference between the two teams was evident. This wasn’t MSU at Maryland or Indiana. This was MSU against a Tyler Cook and...

Great effort, but such a deflating loss.

First time this season I saw a different level of intensity from this team. Not sure why, but something happened midway through the first half (they came out crappy again with no hustle on D).. Then everything changed. Loved to watch for a change. Happy that the hockey line shifts didn’t happen...

Basketball is going small, Fran is going Big

Daily 30 min and Wagnerian 25, ouch! Like short bench idea though. I like Nunge over Wagner since he can shoot.

Basketball is going small, Fran is going Big

Dude you’re nuts if you seriously think Dom Uhl should get any time I need a B10 game. DIII player

Howe: Regardless of Labels, Jordan Bohannon is Special

Yes gonna have a great college career and luckily we no longer he anybody comparing him to Mike Gessel ....

No more line shifts seems to be working

I wonder how much better the players feel on the floor when they are able to break a sweat before getting taken out of game.... The hockey like substitutions had been routine for Coach Fran, but not so much the last few games. Team playing better not a surprise to me. Let’s hope a shorter bench...

Are you willing to give FM credit?

This was the key to the game. Starters played a lot of minutes together with minimum subs. No more hockey like substitution patterns. Was it a one time thing? I sure hope not.

    Nunge

I'm glad he's sitting, need to shorten rotation let others find rythem, Garza. Too many guys playing same position for all the guys to play. Would have liked to have seen him redshirt. I can't stand the play 3 minutes and go back to bench. It's horrible for any player. So sitting him actually...

Judging Brian Ferentz in Year 1

BF is an O lineman, dammit who hires an O lineman that has never called a play in a NCAA game to be a B10 coordinator? Probably never happened before. Let him do what he does well, coach O line. That's a very important position for which he is very qualified to do. To expect him to be any good...
