Not sure of the count right now, but the last I saw, they had 17 players. I just saw they got a commitment from a D2 1st team all-American LB from Texas. That's a pretty big time pick up and yes, I'm being serious. Lots of playing time up for grabs which will make it easier to bring in players...

The past 2 years it seems like Jaz has been passed on the depth chart. I'm kind of surprised he's stuck around this long.

Maybe this signals that Epenesa has passed him and will be an absolute stud next year. We did have a lot of guys play DL in the bowl game so hopefully those guys develop in the off season. We're going to need them all.

Brian Allen is in. Didn't see that one coming at all. But then again, nothing should be a surprise these days.

Watching that game, I think Iowa had a good chance at either. My reason is, when you watch it, there weren't very many times a ball carrier/receiver was tackled on the first hit. It's no wonder this conference can't win bowl games when they can't tackle. They're OL's weren't that impressive...

I've gotten to that age where I see someone like him and think "shit, I'm older than him. Do I look 60 too?" When Iowa played Mississippi State in a bowl game ~5 years back, this is what their 46 year old coach looked like then. He's my age. That one hit hard.

The best part of my day was after the game, my daughters didn't believe I was telling them the right title/words to In Heaven there is no Beer. I strung them along for awhile before I showed them I was right. It's like they think I'm sarcastic or something.

Hannah is the Nwankpa of our women's team. I can't stand watching her play. Was at the game and was able to see her in person. My opinion of her didn't change and yes, I saw her stats.
